The Company:
Team Powerboating has been running since 1989 and is now well established
as the only RYA approved Race Boat Training School in the United Kingdom.
Team Director: Charlotte Hughes
In 1993 Charlotte won her first title in the midland hydroplane championship and managed to finish 3rd, int he national championship despite breaking her hip an injury that kept her out of the world championship team that year.
1994 she again finished 3rd in the British championship and qualified for the British team to race in the world championships where she finished 7th. It was in this year that she set the current british osy 400 speed record of 67.35 mph at lake windemere.

1995 was her most successful year so far as she won the midland hydroplane championship again along with the national championship and managed to finish 2nd in the world championships.
1996 was a turning point in her racing career as she moved into the formula 4 class although she stayed with osy 400 long enough to win the european championship. She finished 4th in the British formula 4 championship winning 2 rounds on the way. She also competed in the prestigious Euromasters formula 4 race
in le harve, france finishing 7th and being the only female to make the final
